In case you havn’t heard yet, I won the Super Online Sewing Match!  Can you believe it?  A big thank you to Kristen and Beth of SewMamaSew who put on this competition.  I can only imagine all of the work that went into orchestrating it all.  They really are the best.  Now I just have to wait for my prize to arrive – The Janome Horizon MC8900 sewing machine.  What an amazing prize!

It was so fun to participate and I learned a lot about myself and sewing in the process.  I hope that they will put on the competition again next year so that I can enjoy it as a bystander.

Congratulations, and I have a Janome 8900. You will love it!!!

Congratulations Kelli! You did an amazing job on that final dress and yours ran past the competition. I especially like how you customized the dress for your shape. That takes some mad sewing skills to be able to pull that off.

I must admit, early on Sue was my favorite and the bag she designed was must more to my taste than yours, but I wasn’t a judge and good thing! Because your skills really showed through as the competition progressed. I loved following along and really enjoyed all your blogging in the process. Congrats again!
