Me-Made-May was a really great experience for me last year.  Not only did it force me to wear the things that I had taken the time to make for myself, but it also taught me a lot about what I actually wear the most and therefore what I should be sewing for myself.  So naturally I am going to take the pledge again.  My situation is a bit more complicated than it was last year, so I am going to go a little bit easier on myself this time.  So, here it goes:

‘I, Kelli of True Bias blog sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’13. I endeavour to wear one sewn or upcycled item at least 5 days a week during the month of May 2013.  I will take pictures of my outfits and post them all every Friday.

I am impressed! Not only did I have absolutely no energy to take this on after having a second kid…I’m pretty sure that I didn’t fit into any of my Me-Made clothes 🙂

I can’t wait to see what you wear!

That’s really awesome, I hope that by next year I will have made myself enough clothing to participate. At this time, I am working on the one and only handmade item for MYSELF. It feels pretty darn good to sew for me rather than the kids because I know it’s something I want to wear and I’m willing to take the time to make it look perfect.
